Mack Valves’ environmental responsibility includes:

Innovative manufacturing solutions
Every Mack valve regularly goes through a process of ‘value engineering’ that measures its function and cost and whether any changes can be made to improve its efficiency. We also closely monitor our manufacturing wastage. Instead of discarding offcuts, we use the leftover metal bar to make the smaller valve components we can use, such as nuts and bolts.
By implementing these processes, we are actively working to keep reducing our environmental footprint, something we encourage across the company.

By sourcing and partnering with local businesses who share our philosophy on sustainability, we’re helping to grow the demand for specialist sustainable solutions and responsible manufacturing.
Our Automatic Control Valves diaphragms can be recycled into playgrounds, paths in parks, golf courses and sporting courts and as a filler material for equestrian arenas. Whereas Control Diaphragms from large deluge systems that are regulated to be replaced every five years, regardless of condition, can now be returned to us and recycled for no extra cost to the customer, reducing waste and saving money.
